Just used Kiwi black wax (tin), but very very little. Let it dry 5-10 min only, then brushed. J

I like the way they've turned out so far...

Thanks, those look great. I think I will end up trying a medium to dark brown or chili to give it a little character without adding any orange.

Walnut Shell Strands

AE Walnut Shell Strands next to my Alden Whiskey LWBs. They happened to be sitting on my coffee table next to each other, I just couldn't resist.

Thanks for posting that Mike, been waiting a long time for someone to do so. My Walnut Dundees are identical in color to my Ravello chukkas so was thinking Whiskey had to pretty light. Think instead the answer is it depends LOL, and of course the age of the shell.

And great looking Walnut Strands!

I, too, use the old AE cognac for my walnut shoes (I don't have any Saphir products).  It's the perfect color . . . just a hair lighter than the walnut leather, with no hints of any orange hues.

Also, I really wish those 6pm Daltons came in wide widths!

Mike,

Killer looking Strands! Great shine on them do. I generally don't like dark edge trim on light shell but those work really well.

Only downside is that is another pair you have to brush and shine wink.gif

Any recommendations of wax polish color/brand for burgundy shell Leeds? I have some of the Burgundy cordovan cream that AE sells but wanted some wax as well.

Hmm...seems the code is expired, wonder if it was a one time use one. Still a good price regardless.
