Following up on this, make sure you verify that a credit card EXACTLY fits in the rectangular area printed on one of the pages of the fit guide. My printer would scale it down a bit, which would lead to a larger than accurate size reading.

Does anybody have any of the AE handsewns which are made in the DR?   Are the materials as nice as normal made in the USA AE shoes?

Does anyone have a belt they can recommend to go with the bourbon colored shoes?

I'm not too fond of AE's Manistee belt.

So, any brand is appreciated.

Thanks!

Who knew?  Thanks.  You learn something new every day!

Def. an option. However I'd be fine with the standard makeup in a 2nd for 299.

You can get the wide basic dress belt MTO in bourbon. I had it made up for me several months ago.

any ideas how to pick the correct size?
Herring (619 last) UK9 and Meermin (Olfe) UK9 are perfectly fine to me.
Am i correct to pick US9.5D AE shoes?
I used the interactive guide. The guide is completely non-sense. It shows me that i should pick US11D AE shoes.
I dont think i should trust this guide..

As above ... it is critical that the guide be printed properly.

Secondly, be aware of its limitations ... i.e., the guide is only a starting point because it cannot measure your arch length which is a feature of the Brannock device.
If you have relatively long toes, the guide could overestimate the length of the shoe and put the widest part of the shoe towards your toes.
If you have relatively short toes, the guide could underestimate the length of the shoe and put the widest part towards your heel.

I wanted the Burgundy's at $299, but didn't have any in my size. I'm supposedly on a waiting list that will honor that price if one ever pops up.

I might get on one for the brown to see if anything shoes up. I think Dundee's don't pop up as 2nds to often. I was on a wait list for the Bourbon Dalton during the boot sale. Took about a month I think. But decided to go with Chili instead for the mean time.

Fortunately for you, Walnut Shell is not obtainable. Thus this shoe can not be made...

Does this help?
