From what I have learned - AE Cleaner/Conditioner is meant to help clean the shoe(cleaning agent) without drying it out. While AE lotion is a moisturizer/protector.. Also from what I gather on rough/untreated leather's AE CL/Cond will darken the leather more the AE Lotion.

I retain the right to be completely wrong.

Those are indeed nice - and +1 re: the 1 last.

Excellent idea.  It's funny...I used to act as if the reps didn't have off days too - I guess it just didn't occur to me. So, if a sale pops up and your rep is not available, you just sort of sit and wait for them to return, because management suggests that they want all of your sales to go to YOUR Shoebank rep. This has burned me in the past (and by 'burned' I mean I didn't get to spend money on THAT shoe at THAT price), so now I will try to grab what I want if my regular rep isn't available...this was one of those cases. Last day of sale.

I suppose this would make Vincenzo the "Strong Safety" of the Shoebank team, because he always seems to make game saving plays for other teammates' oversights/misreads/blown coverages. (No offense to any of the  reps...)

Restock fee is $10 for each pair (I have sent back multiple pairs on one label) when the label is provided, and I believe no fee to restock if you ship yourself.

To be perfectly fair though, these are tan Dublin, but it is very similar to walnut.

They look like cognac Dublin...I have a pair of cognac Dublin McTavish's that look about like those.

Is the restocking fee applied every time you exchange a shoe or only when you return a shoe?  I exchanged both pairs of my seconds from the 2/$250 sale last month using their return label and I wasn't charged the restocking fee.

It's the same color.

Big fan of the Big Sur. Very nice.

Just got the shipping notification that my 3 Suedes from the $125 sale that I returned have new ones due to fit issues...looking forward to it as I took a fairly big swing on shoe size's to get a perfect fit on the brogue Strand..went down a full size and from a 13 D to 12EEE...blue Spiaggia  13D to 13E and tan Strandmok in 13D stayed 13D.

Really hope these work out as they pretty much hit the main three suedes I would need...until I decide to add Olive...

Fashion question for those with an eye for these things...The Spiaggia has that orange sole and the Strandmok has the white with that green band...do you take these colors into consideration at all when pairing the shoes with pants/shirts etc?

I did an MTO snuff suede Mora with Dainite sole. I like it!

Those mora's are perfection. Exactly the shoe I've been looking for!

I might have to do an MTO! Too bad the price just jumped up again :/

Received my Bourbon Mora 2.0 from the sale last week.  At first glance, I thought they were okay with the exception of some puffing up of the leather where the elastic is sewn into the right shoe.  I was willing to overlook this, but then I saw a very distinct crease in the leather at the top of the shoe.  It's pretty pronounced on the left shoe, not as much on the right one.  Don't think I could overlook this, so I guess I'm calling the store tomorrow.  Hope they have my size still because this 108 last fits me perfectly.

I'd like to buy a pair of black casual boots and have been looking at the Wolverine 1000 mile boots. I understand that these are actually made by AE.

Does AE make a similarly styled boot under their own name?
