Good luck finding these now. You might find some in your size on eBay I guess? I hope that AE releases something very similar in the future.

I think there might be some seconds left but it's doubtful at this point.

I have been eyeing some Player Chocolate Suede for a while. I have the Player in walnut and LOVE this shoe. The problem is, I have no idea what/when/how often I would wear this shoe. Anyone have any thoughts on Player suede?

(full disclosure: I have never worn, nor own any suede)

Can I get some sizing info on the Lasalles?

I'm a 9D in the 5-last. I ordered 9E on the Lasalles and it's a too long...Should I go down to 9D or 8.5E? Thanks.

Looks kinda like waxed calf now.

Well, the price would really kill me with a Carmina, although I cannot deny the fact that they look seriously gorgeous.

Got this pair of black Park Aves from the Seconds Sale today. Anyone think I oughta send these back?

It's not all that noticeable and I could probably live with it, but I'm not sure if whatever they did to cover up that apparent split in the leather will end up rubbing off later and expose it. Thoughts?

I wear mine just about anywhere. Church, casual Friday, hanging out on weekends. Suedes are my favorite kicking around shoes.

I picked up some ae leather lotion. I applied it to my walnut cliftons which have some exaggerated creasing. The cloth has a fair amount of polish transfer on it, common?

You can dress them up for work too depending on what they are. They are some fits posted on the WAYWRN thread of posters with suits and suede shoes that look amazing.

If there's excess polish it'll come off, sure.

What kind of pants do you pair with these, jeans, chinos? If dress pants, what color works best?

Thanks!

I have a pair of 9.5E Strands that fit well at the heel, but just a bit restricting on the toes and front half, like barely any room for toes to move. Should I get 9.5EE in the McAllister? I think that would give me enough toe width but dunno if thatll introduce heel slip. any insight appreciated.

Jeans and chinos both work with the bitter chocolate suede. Shades of red and orange (wine, manzanilla, burnt umber) work particularly well. Haven't tried with my flannels, but I think darker grays would look ok. They match nicely with blue and navy, but I can also dress them up with an olive suit. Very versatile. The color is quite rich in person.

I just bought a pair of shells off this website and my total out-of-pocket (after VAT refund and including shipping) was the equivalent of $650 US - in other words, exactly the same as AE's base shell prices.
