They look good in my opinion. for a buck 25 hard to beat.  The crease wouldnt bother me but that's up to you.  I creased a 500 dollar pair in a similar way the first week I had them.   I figured I got the first major issue out of the way and can enjoy. The boots look sharp, I like the laces on them.  Are they rubber or leather sole?

I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks!

I feel the same way about the first crease---someone did the hard work for me, not I can just enjoy.

The boots are not just rubber but an actual Dainite sole, I'm surprised those boots haven't gotten more love (though more of an SW&D piece). I guess there have been some reports of comfort issues, but they feel good to me so far.

ps

(that's not Duck Beach Outer Banks reference is it?)

Hi all, AE newbie here. Today was the first day wearing my 11D Lasalle to work...and I'm very surprised right now that my feet doesn't hurt one bit! I work retail and I spend 9 hours daily standing/walking and these felt like they've be wore for months....

I already have another pair of AE being shipped to me, haha. Just thought I'd share.

I did not realize Shoe Bank has a list like this available online. Could be a bad thing for my wallet.

Bourbon Daltons for casual Fri. Picked these up during 2nds boot sale for $200. These are my first pair of boots and first purchase of 2nds. Extremely pleased with both. I was worried that boots would be uncomfortable, but just the opposite is true. These feel amazing, and they're much more versatile than I thought they'd be. Happy Friday, gentlemen!

Do anyone have the cronmok and can advise on them?

This is the only boot i like from AE ... i do not find the chukkamok very attractive..

I tried em on and have been thinking about them for a while. I think I'm going to buy them right before school starts in September.

They are awesome, IMO. The leather is super soft, they are super comfortable since they are unlined. They have a rubber half sole so they won't slip. I don't like the brown or tan that much, and the navy is too light for my tastes, but there are some pics on this forum that show a navy that is well conditioned, and they look great.

They do look casual, which is a plus for me, but as always, YMMV

I just dropped your seconds in the mail to some lucky chap. Seriously, one of the best MTO shoes I have seen. When my wife saw them the first thing she asked was if they were in my size. Well done!

If those weren't yours they were pretty close to being identical to your makeup.

I recently picked up some Chocolate Daltons and I had a similar experience to yours. My first boot (except ankle boots). I was concerned about comfort but was surprised how comfortable they were - all I had to do was tighten the laces throughout the first day as they broke in.

I really like the Bourbon on your boots. I got a deal at 1/2 off on 1st quality, so I decided I could live with the Chocolate. Either way, the Dalton is very versatile.

Thank you. 1/2 off on 1st quality is an amazing deal! How'd you swing that? I would've pounced on that offer as well.

I don't think you're settling at all with the Chocolate. That is a great color. If I get another Dalton, it'll be that color. I'm waiting for brown Dundees to be delivered though, and the color may be too close to matching to justify another purchase.
