At their current price they are an incredible deal

I'm pretty certain that the poster gets the point right now as there are no shells at the $100 price range. And even if you were to somehow acquire a pair of shells for $100, I can guarantee that your wallet will feel the pain from subsequent shell purchases once the addiction starts.

I ended up buying my first pair of Shells (Leeds) during the seconds-sale, thinking it was something I can try out and it was only $299, which was a great value. AE shells definitely did not disappoint one bit (not even the seconds) and that's where the danger comes into play when venturing into shells. They are expensive purchases (at least by my account) and are highly addictive. I'm mortified to calculate what I've spent after buying my first pair of shells from AE thinking it was going to be my last pair, but let's just say I have an MTO or possibly two MTOs in the process and another two pairs in my rotation, yikes, haha.

Long story short, you buy AE shells, you're going to want more, WE guarantee it. And also recommended it!

Harleybob is mocking the posters on this board and not seriously asking a question. I try to ignore it but it seems that some good samaritans are taking their time to answer his nonsensical posts. Surprised to see that a luxury shoe forum has trolls too.

Not necessarily and MTO. It was a webgem last year.

I did not know that. I must have missed it since I didn't pay too much attention to the AE website a year ago. Now to search for photos...

Anyone know where I can get the list for 9.5D?  I sent an email to the Shoebank last week and this week with no reply.

Anyone have thoughts on the Carson city boot(basically Dalton's with a wedge sole) or the Stewart derbies? Thinking of getting them 2 for 250. I already own chili Dalton's but after this winter I'm wishing I had more non-leather soled options.

I originally purchased a pair of Navy Strand seconds in a size 11.5D, but when they arrived, they had a natural colored split reverse welt and used the navy suede with the light blue edge coloring. It wasn't to my liking, so i MTO'd a pair of strands using the old navy suede, single JR sole, flat welt, light transparent edge coloring.  Just wanted to give you a heads up in the event you came across my pictures.

Call them.  262-284-7158.  And do it soon, 'cause stuff's going fast.

I have the Stewarts and like them - 1 last goodness, plus the color can serve as both brown and "red."  $125 is even better than the 20% off clearance price of a few weeks ago (which is when I bought them).

Thanks for the heads up!  Took me a couple tries, but I finally got someone to answer.  Now I await the list.
