Is sunff suede this light? I was hoping it would be a bit darker than this. Is there anything between snuff and bitter chocolate suede?

I tried it out, thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks. This is more like it. I wanted to do a spectator is snuff suede and bourbon or snuff suede and chili. By any chance would you have a photo of bourbon or chili shoe that you can put side side with the AE snuff suede?

Sorry, the only other AE shoes I have are walnut and black

Should be an easy process. However, I'd call the store ahead of time to make sure they have the size(s) you want to exchange.  If not, ask if they can bring/ship them to the store for you to try one.

My burgundy shell Daltons are my favorite pair of shoes. Perfect sleekness. Then I'd say my color 8 shell Indy.

couple quick questions; Should i expect the color of my pair to look identical CMT1's? Or was that particular pair blessed by the AE gods? (lol)

Based on my experience you need to see the shoes before you purchase them.  I have 2 pairs of bourbon shoes and they are completely different colors.  One is a sort of dirty walnut and the other is what I would call the nice bourbon color that you see here.  The nice one, like you see here, I got at a store, the second was an MTO that I was quite disappointed in (color wise) that is now an experiment in polishing and color modification.

If there's any more stock of brogue suede, that's probably what you're looking for. It's the one the strand was on.

I know, I had a pair in my hand and justified selling them because I have Alden LWB in Cigar shell. I see the Townleys as a more casual shoe and the Aldens already fill the role of casual brown shell shoe.

Yeah! That's it. The ones in the store looked like the top one, but the bottom look so good. Is that just conditioner you think? Just keeping them hydrated will darken them? Anything I can do to keep them darker permanentantly?
