Just thought I'd share pics of new to me (they were gently 'previously enjoyed') McTavish, in the Cognac Dublin leather. In the shade and direct sunlight. Gorgeous colouring.

Some shots of the Clark Street in action. I was pretty mesmerized by the natural CXL and decided to keep them.

Agreed...wish a pair of those had shown up on my list at some point. Also, looks like someone else besides me is a big fan of the 3 last.

So I have been tailoring all of my pants over the past couple of weeks to slim them down, and today my dad saw me wearing a pair. He said he didn't like how short they were and that I would regret getting them that short at some point in the future. He might be right, but right now, slim and short is 'in', and he verified this himself by checking out GQ's site. I don't peruse the website very often, but I started looking around today, and here's something that caught my eye:

Shoes look familiar? What about to you Xchange?? Yep, I was looking at them and then my thoughts were confirmed by the caption:

"5. A Prep Look the Other Guys Can’t Pull Off

LeBron knows how to find his own lane, and that goes for colors as much as drives to the rack. While D-Wade likes primary colors and Westbrook electric ones, LeBron has his own signature washed-out palette—kinda like the hotels on South Beach.

Shirt, $345 by Michael Bastian. Tie, $170 by Thom Browne New York. Pants, $198 by Unis. Shoes, $275 by Allen Edmonds. Hat by Borsalino at JJ Hat Center. Tie bar by The Tie Bar. Gray bracelet by Hermès. Watch by Audemars Piguet."

The AE Strandmok in navy suede. Guess I should go pick up a pair now...

I'm picking up a few.

On a related note, does anyone have issues getting these shoe trees to fit properly in the Fifth Street Boot? I use the same size on every shoe and boot I own with no issues, however, with the Fifth Street the tree gets hung up before expanding fully into the toe box.

Agreed. Here's to hoping Nordstrom adds these to it's next big sale.

Honestly, i'm a new customer to Allen Edmonds Shoes since the last 2weeks.

What i like from this brand is, they have classical nice and good shoes for various type of foot and they play on the trendy style like the Strandmok.

Still 8h after, i don't want to remove those shoes from my feet, the look and the comfort is UNIQUE!!!

Unfortunately... it's a discontinued shoe... but for me, it's a casual classic.

Wonderful job with the polish then! The comment saying they might have been bought in two leathers sure could have fooled me with the job you did.
