I really need to get over my colored sole phobia...I love bold styled shoes however the sole thing is slow to come around

Just when I've successfully rounded off my shoe collection and convinced myself I don't need anything more -- and coincidentally, run out of spare shoe trees -- this sort of thing inevitably happens.

Those $8.50 shoe trees end up costing me about $240/ea all said and done. :P

shoe trees are cheap, but getting those AE shoes to use up all your shoe trees are not, haha.

On another note, how do you guys feel about a danite sole on a semi-formal shoe such as a oxford punched captoe. I believe this is only available through MTO right? Would that style be contradictory?

Thanks for the heads up! I just bought a pair of shoes (haven't worn them yet) that are in need!

Awesome timing, I was driving around all day yesterday trying to find trees for my new shoes to no avail.  Would have been 12.99 even if I did.

Thoughts on these shoes?

I just picked up some AE walnut Nathans from the shoe bank for a great price, looked them over and see nothing other than some scuffing on the sole bottom.

I'm wondering if you all think I should just clean, condition and shine them up, or go for any sort of burnishing for them.  I'm thinking I'd put a very nice shine on the toe cap either way
