Chiming in a little late here, but this thread moves so fast.

For about a year now I've been using a shoehorn I got from Kent Wang. I figured if I'm spending hundreds of dollars on shoes, spending $35 on a nice shoehorn made out of genuine horn is worth it.

It doesn't work any better, but it gives me a little pleasure every morning when I use it.

Hi,

I'm very new to this forum, i started to read this thread last week as i did some search for the quality of Cole Haan Shoes... everybody suggest to leave them appart and grab some AE over for the quality.

So last week i look at the clearance items on AE Online I ordered a pair of Kenwood Loaffer at very good price (195..117$) but i'm not sure what to expect...

I'm suspecting they are refurbish shoes... it is correct or usually it's clearly indicated on the website when we order them?

Many thanks

If you bought it from the AE website, they're first quality. The shoe bank sells second quality, but there's currently no online platform to view inventory and process payment information. But to reiterate, if you have purchased the laofers from AE's main site, then it's defintely first quality.

Thank you,

Sorry for this stupid question but, what is the Shoes Bank?

What kind of shoes do they class as a first quality?

Wrong order but BRAND NEW ?

Returned unsused shoes?

Thanks

welcome to the forum! I would spend a few minutes reading through the thread as well as utilizing the search function. I believe this will provide you with a wealth of information.

Is there an unwritten rule that the jeans or chinos should be lighter in color than the shoes? I have some navy Strandmoks and I think they look better with lighter color pants.

Great! I think the contrast stitching, laces, and welt color make it so that its not just all navy/blue from the waist down.

Also, are the Cronmok Navy and the Neumok Navy identical?

What he said. I picked up a genuine shoe horn a few years back (somebody on the buy/sell forum had 'em for a screaming deal; got one for my kid brother, too) and it makes me far happier than the cheap stamped metal thing I used previously. It's the little things.

So i went crazy and i went to a local AE retailer today and got a pair of McNeil WallNut and a pair of Strand Brown Suede. They where solded and i got them for 278 each which is a good price i think.

The franciscian looks so hot, the most appealing for me, especially in Chily but i think i had enough shoes in my bag + i need a 9.5 E and the store only have the D version.

3 pair of AE in 4days... hum.. will see
