Length increases 1/16 of an inch from what I've been told

Maybe I missed this, but what's the smallest MTO size possible?  I'm interested in joining the "Allen Edmonds for my wife" club...

For the a few mainstays like the PA, they go down to a 6D, for most other shoes, 6.5E. I'm not sure if you can MTO those shoes into a smaller size.

BCer,

You are looking good regardless of Calf or Shell. Enjoy your boots.

Looking good half/half/half, I have a pair that have not seen much (well any) wear. Have your patina'ed at all since you first got them? Mine don't have the same "golden" glow that my Strands or Chukkas have and I have come to realize that I am not as much of a boot guy as I first thought that I may be.

No, they won't make custom lasts.  Whatever their smallest size in any given last is, that will be the smallest they will make.

What kind of patina might those colors develop over the years? I'm thinking a lighter colored leather (either of the these two leathers) would age very nicely and be a great casual shoe.

I'm pretty interested in the Clark Street because of the natural CXL upper. I like the LaSalle design and to me natural CXL looks pretty good with the red Dainite soles. It should make for a nice casual shoe. Natural CXL should darken a little bit over time and CXL leather in general tend to have a lot of character.

1/24” lenght increase for higher widths (E, EE, EEE, etc.) , but no decrease for the lower widths (C, B, A, etc.)

Last Friday I bought a pair of grey black hills @ AE store for $ 149. Saturday found out Amazon has them for $ 99. Email AE CS and the response was they don't monitor amazon and they don't match prices, and they are not first quality

I felt very guilty today . . . some may recall a discussion in the thread a couple of weeks ago where two of us received what purported to be brown shell Dundees but were burgundy shell instead.  I just got around to returning mine to the New Orleans AE store, and I won't be re-ordering them because in the meantime I had found truffle (cappuccino) shells.  Maybe this is silly of me but I hate taking a commission out of my go-to local guy's pocket.  OTOH, I do give him my business when I buy other non-custom firsts, which I do do from time to time . . . .

The inspiration for the "wives' club" - an SA at the store in Philadelphia - told me her Daltons were a size 5.

I still have my walnut calf.  I assumed I would sell them but I'm having trouble letting go of them!

I only got mine a month or so ago - totally lucked into an old pair of firsts that had been moldering away on a forgotten shelf somewhere - so no chance to develop a patina yet.  If you decide to sell yours I'm sure you will have eager suitors!
