Hmm.  I wonder if the fact that I ordered 18 pairs has anything to do with that?

18 pairs?  You have 18 pairs of shoes that don't have shoe trees????

People were wondering a little while ago about how it was possible to spend $5K on shoes in six months.  Well, I've been on a major boot-buying spree the last month or two (including lots of shell) and will exceed that with room to spare.  Plus, I have BB Strands coming this week and a few others I expect to order in the next few months (i.e., as soon as there's another sale).  So, I'm ultimately going to need somewhere between 9 and 18.  The most I can order at one time off the website is 10, and if I did two orders of 9 I would get free shipping on both.  I'll either stockpile the pairs I don't need, or just return them to my local JAB.

hey, if you have the means to blow $5K on shoes, why not do it? IMO $5K shoe collection > $5K vacation or $5K spent on pretty much anything else, and it's not even close... heck, I'd take a $5K shoe collection over any vacation to be honest.

AE had some krause boots a couple of weeks back. I think the 744 and 721s concerned them as they advertised a 1000 limited run. Adding seconds could devalue the product in some customers eyes and could be viewed as untruthful.

I saw on the AE instagram that they were taking photos for what I would assume is their Spring Catalog. I should have put a suggestion in for you regarding their website photos. :fistbump:

lol... I actually don't mind the catalog photos, the photos on the front page of the website, or the photos in their flyers, or online advertisements, but when you get into the website and look at the... blah blah blah blah, blah blah, blah blah blah blah etc...

A good vacation can be better than an amazing shoe collection, but I've found too many of my vacations end up being a disappointment.

People have run studies that have shown that, for many people, the pleasure of planning and anticipating the vacation is greater than the pleasure of actually taking the vacation.  I love planning and anticipating my shoe purchases - and I love wearing them when they arrive!

Mine are slightly dull, but they shine up fairly well.

They look good, keep brushing (1/2)^3
