And PA would be the same sizing as Strand, correct?

Correct! The Neumok fits me a little looser than the Strand but then again you might be wearing a dressier (thinner) sock with the Strand.

Strand and PA should have the same sizing since they're both fitted in the 5-last (somebody correct me if I'm wrong)

When I asked Allison the same question last week the answer was.......

"For the metal grommets of the eyelets we would have, silver, brass, black, or copper."

I chose the brass grommets for my Walnut MTO shoes.

I'm glad I sent the first pair of Fifth Street seconds back. I just received a replacement pair and they are flawless. Well worth the $10 restocking fee.

Missed holes in the brogueing....

I got some Strands in the mail this weekend from the Nordstrom sale....I noticed outside of the right shoe, there are two spots where one of the small holes is not punched at all.  Am I being too nitpicky or does this warrant a return?  Picture below is an example of what I'm talking about.

Personally, I would be ok with them.

I have 2 small imperfections on an MTO I had made, and would never return them.

Sorry, what's an MTO?

Seeing something like this make me realize how poorly I look over my shoes when I get them....

Made to order. I wouldn't worry about the imperfection that you're seeing. Nobody will ever see that.

So, would you keep them?

I would. It actually took me a minute to spot the missing hole. Enjoy them!

Exactly.  I used to never notice anything unless it was a horrible flaw.  Seeing how others inspect their shoes, I am now trying to take the time to inspect them carefully.  I'm just always in a hurry to put them on!

LoL. I still can't find the missing holes. But I am out and using my iphone. :-)

I would definitely keep them, having some minor errors with perforations on the side of the shoe isn't a deal breaker to me. If it was the medallion on the Captoe, it would be a completely different story.

I bought the same shoe and I'm taking mine back. On my pair, I polished them up to wear to church yesterday and found that the leather has a tear just above the welt on the toe.

It isn't something I can see when wearing them and it probably won't ever get worse, but torn leather is just a bit too much.

Nordstrom did a big special order on black strands just for the sale, but they are supposed to be firsts, so we should hold them to that quality.
