I'm an 8.5D, but the creasing on those is a bit much for me.

Oh, and they looked horrendous out of the box at first...

Here's another pic

Those look great! What did you do to get them looking nice? Brushing and reno? Making me even more excited to get my brown shell jeffersons that are currently being remade!

Kenilworth walnut or brown
McNeil
McTavish in tan or black
Strand in brogue suede
Cordovan Leeds if you can spare the cash...

Thanks everyone for the tips.

I will check them all out for sure.

Since boots are all on sale it is a good time to focus on them. (unless you are looking at the 30% amazon disc.)

The color (Brown Shell Cordovan) is a little flat out of the box but I'm hoping with some TLC these will be a great addition to my collection.

They are the "Players" Model.  Independence lining and insole and outsole.  Brown flat welt with wheeled edges. Transparent Brown edge dressing.

I'll try to get some better pics (fluorescent at work kinda crappy)

I'm glad I pulled a last minute change and went up a width based on how narrow I heard these can be.

Look great! Congrats.

What size are you?  They look long and trying to get some idea how mine would look (if I ever got some like that).

Also, please post some pix after wears. Want to get some idea how the rolls would look.

Bittersweet.

Received my MTO Brown Calf Dundees (Box says Cordovan) today. Never owned any pair on the 1 last so I went with the usual 7.5 E as I do in the 5 last.

And they're TOO BIG FOR ME! :censored: I also have small ankles so the boot looks awkward & unusual on me. It is a sad sad day.

Will be putting them up for sale in the Classifieds section. Wanted to give you guys a heads up in case you missed out during the RDA sale. Will honor RDA sale price + tax. Shipping is on me. $315 shipped UPS Next Day.

Here are the details:

Brown Burnished Leather

Brown Leather Insole
Brown Split Reverse Welt

Standard leather outsole

Light brown transparent sole and edge dressing

AppleMark

Haha, if its a trubalance size 8, then I would gladly give those Indys a new home.

Anybody want to jump into this thread and comment on the sale of AE?  There is a lot of speculation going on:

Allen Edmonds sold...should we be worried about a decline in quality?

I need some help with Dalton sizing because I don't want to make the same mistake with my MTO Dundees.

7.5 E in 5 Last would be what in a Dalton?

Based on that third picture, I don't think the previous owner has seen a shoe tree in his life. I think his care regimen involved laying lead weights on top of the shoes each night.

Thanks! I'm also jonesing for my MTO burgundy shell Kenilworths.

No Reno. Need to get some as there's some stubborn paste on the right shoe.

Just wearing, wiping, brushing, and buffing.

Most boots ate $50-100 off right on the main AE website.
