Is the neumora better than the "old" mora?

The new Neumora for me. Like the toe cap better.

What would you say is a more versatile look in the States? The traditional rounded older lasts of AE or the new european like last of the 333?

Yes. The shape and the burnishing.

Round is more versatile. All else equal, most people will think the Fifth Ave or Park Ave looks nice. The 333 lasted shoes will be more polarizing. Some will think stylish, others will think ostentatious, and midwesterners will question your sexuality.

These are my first pair of balmorals, these sized 7.5D, and I'm wondering if the spreading of the quarters due to my high instep is acceptable in the pics below. The shoes feel very good in the heel and ball, snug but not tight, but I'm wondering if this looks bad and if I can expect any problems long term. I haven't broken in the shoes yet, just walked on carpet without flexing the front. PS: I'm aware of the various posts on this subject elsewhere on styleforum (which are overall inconclusive).

I happened to be in the US last week and went to get my foot "officially" measured at the AE store. To my surprise, the fella suggested that I size down by 1/2 size in #5 last, due to the shortness of my foot, despite my high instep. The size 7 D park aves I tried seemed tight (but not suffocating), and I was told not to attempt going up in width.

Thus, with some sadness, the shoes above are for sale on B/S.

Isn't that the truth, I often feel dressed up wearing desert boots...

On that note. The Neumoras look awesome.

I was just about to do myself but you beat me to it acousticfoodie and thank you.
I like these Neumoras and just may pull the trigger on these. More sleek than the original, in fact a different last altogether.
Both original and Neu are nice in my books.
Were I to purchase the Neumora in brown I would have my cobbler replace these buckles with ones of brass.
It appears all the new models in this flyer are on the same last. I like also the longwing beside the Neu.

I was bemused at that myself.  $335 beaters?  Not knocking it but I'd hate to see the pricetag on his house slippers.

1) Where can I get a belt that matches my AE walnut colour shoes? Thing is I need to be able to find the belt locally here in Toronto.

2) What are good insoles for walnut AE shoes? My shoes might be just slightly too big.

I like the Superfeet insoles.  They carry the EasyFit 3/4 and the Superfeet Black at the AE store.

Just noticed the Rutledge on the website. I'm liking the look of that one a lot as well.

picked up my second pair of AE's this time I went the used ebay route, still learning about shoes. I needed something in black, liked the color of these. How do you guys think I did? I feel like I got a pretty decent price on slightly used AE's?
