They end up being $23.37/ea! Limited Sizes

You do have to have their Key Code from today: EB091013B

If you download their app for your phone they'll treat you to Free Shipping.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm usually a 36, but sometimes a 38 pants size.  I ordered a 36 as the only other option was 44.  Hopefully it will fit. Worth a try for just over $20.

They were on my list for $299 but at this point i've decided to not get them.

I stopped home at lunch today to see my walnut shell seconds Macneils. These are the ones I had made that didn't pass inspection for some reason. They arrived, though they are a bit darker than I expected.

Here is a my walnut shell Macneils thy did pass inspection.

Before anyone points out the obvious, that the welts are different, I know, I had them change it on the order.

Could it be the color was to dark to pass as walnut and that is why they are considered seconds? Clearly I haven't laced them yet, but barring any lacing line up issues, I can't see why these are seconds. They are darker than the walnuts I received with the MTO program...

I think they seem to have a lot more cream applied. I think you could strip them down and shine them up nicely. Pretty nice you have your choice of welt color :)

Wait.

If all shoes are on sale for 15% off next month, then wouldn't all shell offerings (except dalton) be roughly the same price as these brown webgems (minus the shoe trees)?

Couldn't they have decided this before they cut the shell to make the shoe?

Sure, they probably COULD have.

That would be my guess too. Out of the box, my walnut shell Cliftons looked dark like the pair on the right. Lots of cream came off and they lightened up quite a bit, and now look closer to the pair on the left. I honestly think both pair look great, maybe you could keep them different shades just for variety.
