I am both shocked and jealous! I bought 2 pairs in a month and I'm fighting every single day not to order another one yet.

I'm trying to figure out whether or not to use this cobbler anymore. I might be picky and I really don't know whether or not the previous shoe stretching causes this or just the way I walk. I guess it's not even that big of a deal.

My one pinky toe is a bit crooked because I had a few dirtbike spills and broke it more than once. I need a little bit of room on the side because its a little curled and rubs the shoe.

It looks like a thumb print crease that's only really noticeable when direct bright light hits it. The issue is I'll need my McAllisters and Strands stretched a little too. Does it look normal and I'm just being crazy?

I've picked up six pair in the past six or so months and am sort of tapped out.  The only two styles I could see myself picking up are the Fifth Ave. in brown (or dark brown) and pair of Haight Chelsea boots.  I wouldn't wear the Fifth Ave's all that often and would primarily be work with suits (which I wear only a few times per year).  The Haight boots look great, though...  I feel like my collection is just right as it is: Walnut Strands, Bourbon McAllisters, Snuff Suede Nuemok's, Snuff Suede Amoks, Natural Tan Ashbury's, and Natural Tan McTavishes.  Very, very happy man :)

The original poster asked about the PAs. I only see D width online for this shoe.

Guy at the store said the PA is only made for BB in D width. Maybe that's not true but that's the story I got.

The Grown-Up Shoe Game is worse than crack. Before AE I was a recovering Sneaker addict.

Yeah man...  I went from obsessing over jordans to obsessing over AE's...  I never would have thought of buying a pair of 300+ dollar basketball shoes, now i'm getting ready to buy my second pair of AE's in about a month, but I don't feel the least bit guilty.

Same Same

Quality should be the same, but the trees may not be.

Which would be considered more casual, black Sanford or black Strand? Blucher vs. Balmoral?

dayum dude...  I thought I was being lustful whilst planning on buying my second pair in a few months...  (i'm considering giving up eating out so I can put the money saved from that towards buying shoes).  I will say this though, it's super hard to resist!  I've been hooked on AE shoes ever since the smell of my first pair hit me upon opening the box for the first time.

I don't know about the smell!  I think maybe it's because my father is a carpenter.  He came home every day smelling like cabinet finish which is not so different from the smell of the shoes...  The smell reminds me even more of my father now that they have taken on the cedar smell to go with the smell of the shoes finish...  Jeez, just realized it sounds like i'm talking about my dead father... He's very much alive and kicking!

Balmorals are always more formal than bluchers. Black is the most formal of colours fyi

Very surprised that people on this forum/thread know what a tuk-tuk is

i googled it. haha
