whoever bought these is going to be very disappointed!

I got to see the upcoming fall offerings, brush off leather is of the last time I saw going to be released in different models.  I remember seeing them as wingtip shoes, but of course plans do change.

They could open a case up for item not as described if they're a discerning shoe buyer.  It certainly can be mistaken for that cordovan shine, but the creases are what doesn't lie.

Not sure what to think of that model, I like a more prominent wing, it seems quite short and anemic.

Could anyone give me a length (including buckle) of an Allen Edmonds belt (specifically the wide dress belt, but I'm sure any will do) in 34 or 36? Thanks!

ALLEN EDMONDS SHOES/BOOTS/LOAFERS SALE at NORDSTROMS COMING

I just received approval from Brett Bohlman at Nordstrom Department Store to post the following contact information for an upcoming NORDSTROM SALE for Allen Edmonds Shoes!

Brett Bohlman
FLS Sales Department Manager | Mens Shoes
Nordstrom Department Store

Send an email to Mr Brett Bohlman at his official Nordstom email address above, and ask him for details on their upcoming SALE of selected Allen Edmond Shoes, Boots, and Loafers!

They will be having several very good styles in shoes, boots, and loafers that you will not want to miss . . . all at very, very good prices.

All my best,

Not unless you agree to follow the Saphir 5-step process in caring for any shoe purchases from Nordstrom.

I am glad they were not in my size because if they were I would've bought them.  And I would've been crying as I filed a claim against the Seller with Ebay!

I'd rather have you get the official sale dates directly from Brett, in case they either move up or are delayed.  You can email Brett at Nordstrom's.

There are two (2) sale dates, one for those who have either a Nordstrom's Debit & Rewards Card (which is easy to get because it draws from your checking account) - or the regular Nordstrom Credit/Rewards card . . . VERSUS all other customers (such as myself) who wish to use our own credit or debit cards.  I suspect the rewards customers can place their orders starting in just a few weeks, and the non-rewards customers can order after that.  But either way, there is plenty of time to order because both sale start dates, which start as early in a few weeks, end on August 4th.

You may be able to get a head start by emailing Brett at his official Nordstom's email address so he can help get you set up with style and size, and still have until August 4th to process the order.

All my best,

David

Not at all my friend!  [ wink ]

Actually, if Brett arranges for you to pick up your Allen Edmond Sale selection(s) at a local Nordstroms Department Store, you will receive a complimentary free professional shine from their in-store shoe shine stand!  I found they use a combination of great products, creams, waxes, and balms . . .  that are not Saphir, but VERY GOOD.

I think there are some good deals; I saw the BB MacNeils for $159. Tempting me a bit...

Some of the Tent Sale items, which are Seconds, may very well be on sale as firsts for only an extra $30.00 above a "second" .

As for jaw-dropping (or maybe a nice grin), I am looking forward to the Dalton's in Calfskin going on sale for a comfortable amount of around $259.00 .

You're doing the right thing by staying in touch with this forum,

David
