Does it work like the sale a few weeks ago where you can email any location and get a list/order? Or are they sticking to the 3 methods listed on the website?

You can email either of the Shoebank locations and get a list. I'd asked Vincenzo about it when I was finishing up my last order; he said the lists will be released on the first day of the sale, but he added me to a list to be emailed out on the first day. I'm assuming there's no point sending the lists now as the inventory will only grow right up until the start date.

Thanks, I imagine you can email Jeffersonville too then? My experience with the Shoebank and the guy you mentioned was very poor and caused me to miss out on many shoes I wanted, while the service from Jeffersonville was excellent, that's why I ask.

Thanks evilWagon. If you could post (when you get it) the list I would greatly appreciate it. It will be much easier to see what models are available and call them to check for size. Thanks again.

The lists are size specific, for instance I requested the 15D and 15C lists. I imagine they just pull it from an access database and drop it in the email.

I think you can likely email any of the locations but I can't be certain. I've read several good reviews of the Brookfield location. I hear you though Vincenzo would answer one question I had but skip over the other two requiring me to email him back, and was sometimes (relatively) slow to respond, a day or more so I ended up calling in to place my order directly. Off the jump though he sent me the lists I asked for and answered my first couple of questions within minutes of me sending the emails. I'd put it down to being busy vs lazy.

Did you get it special order? I tried it in E's and EEE's but didn't find an EE option.

There's an A/E shop near my work.

They checked their computer and found EE's in the New York City A/E shop, and had them sent over.

Not sure if anyone remembers about 2 years ago, when BB launched their new website, they had a contest about submitting your personal AE story. The winners would receive a pair of shoes, and publishing in their "90 Years, 90 Stories" book. I was fortunate enough to be included, and just received my shoes today:

Hancock in burgundy, w/ nice flush heels, came out quite well.
The toe is extremely soft, so i will try hard to make the creasing happen in the vamp. I wonder why AE doesn't use toe stiffeners in their cap toes, would solve most of my past AE issues.

Are you referring to the Allen Edmonds 90 Stories for 90 Years book? I just received my book after being notified I was included in the book.

Got it. I will email them. Thanks for the info.

Could anyone comment on Walnut-White Broadstreet. I love these but little worried it might get too much attention. I don't feel comfortable when people stare at me even for good reasons. For this reason I am worried, I may not wear it often..... I would like to hear your experiences.

Also could you please comment on sizing and matching slacks. Appreciate your help.

The tent sales are location specific. The Jville outlet won't be doing their tent sale until August and the San Francisco store told me they would be having their sale sometime in late September or early October. I contacted the shoebank and got a list in my size and found the styles that I wanted for the sale. No idea what the pricing will be yet though so I will have to inquire next week.

Just curious to know where on the AE website you saw this?  My SA also claimed that the Neumok runs small.  I have two pairs of Neumoks, and I have not found this to be true.  They fit essentially the same as other #5 last makeups.  The difference is in the leather.  Lined calfskin will fit snuggly compared to the unlined suede or "rough" leather of the Neumok.  The Neumok will also stretch just a little bit more.

For reference, my AE collection includes the Park Avenue, Strand, Strandmok, Ridgeway, and two pairs of Neumoks.

Can you guys shed some light as I'm gonna pick these guys up for casual wear

So I just picked up a pair of Fifth Streets and was a bit miffed to find some major manufacturing defects in the right boot -- specifically, one of the top eyelets is only half-inserted and there's a funny crease in the leather on the side, as though the shoe was put together a bit wonky. I'd ordered them from the AE website, since I couldn't be bothered to go downtown, but now I'm wondering whether I should email or call their main CS or just take the shoes down to the Boston store. Anybody have experience with their Boston store / would their stores exchange something bought on their website?

If you go to the AE website and click on casual shoes then the Neumok's.. I choose the snuff suede, if you read the 2nd comment on the first page one person says it.. Then go through a few more pages it's mentioned again.

I can strongly say that most, if not all stores, will exchange shoes purchased from the AE website. They are one company and if you do receive any flack I would just push a little.

The only thing issue I can see you encountering is the lack of inventory for boots. I have noticed that in two of my NYC stores, they do not carry many boots- specifically the Fifth Streets.

Good luck!

Both the Financial district and newbury street stores have great sales associates. It does get a bit busy in both stores, but if you're patient I'm pretty sure they'll help you out in the matter.
