Nooooo!

Are they going to have them on sale again?
Do you know if I can still get AE to make me a pair in C width?
I need two pairs, one for a friend and one for me.
I have no idea what the frequency of Lands End sales are. I have no idea whether you can get AE to make you a pair in any size, and I'm almost positive you can't get them in a C width.

A few months ago I had a shoe on the 5-last made in a C width for a slight upcharge (which turned out not to fit well DOH!). If they have the last available I think they will make them to order.

You're right, I meant B width. Does anyone have the show bank contact info?

Bayfields arrived today, fit is spot on. They are a little lighter in colour than I was expecting, but I can change that easily enough should I decide to.

Those look great. AE really needs to bring those back or at least something close.

I've got a pair of Sanfords here I just purchased brand new and found a defect in the right shoe. The rest of the shoe is breathtaking (perfect leather, really nice stitching). This panel though on the shoe the stitching is lopsided, they go over the edge and almost just try to finish off the pattern even though no longer in symmetry. The leather holes are not punched right through so they are just left there. You can see where the shoe laces attach is really crinkly leather. It's almost like a thinner piece of leather compared to the rest of the shoe. Somehow this was missed on their quality control. The rest of the shoe is brand new. This panel almost seems old. The shoes were fresh and unlaced out of the box (I did a quick lace up to try them on so I don't believe they were used. The leather soles were untouched.

When is the next sale?

It will probably start around Thanksgiving. It seems like I get sale advertisements from them every other month.

Got a new pair of Malvern Chukkas today, size 14B. It kills me, wearing around the house, so I have the option of returning, I am getting a lot of pressure on the side of the right foot big toe. I thought this was possibly a break in issue which is why I brought them home in the first place, but now I am not so sure. Any thoughts? Also does anybody else want to chime in with other AE shoes or other brands that they have had luck with in large (14+) sizes? I bought them for everyday wear with chinos/khakis.

Thanks in advance for the ideas.

I'm nowhere near a size 14, but I will say the Malvern is one of the most miserably fitting shoes/boots I have ever tried on. It fit totally different than other AE models on the same last????

Received my walnut dalton seconds :)
- besides a few issues I noticed I am pretty happy that they fit

I like the Daltons, but are they really that light?
Has anyone attempted darkening them? I prefer these to the dark brown ones..they look too "flat!"
