It's not that full priced one aren't fair, but it's so easy to not pay full price. Even new models can be bought for a good discount on shoebuy with 10% off, plus another 10% for signing up for their emails, and I think 13% cashback thru b of a.

Most retail priced ones are around 280-350. I say under 200 is a pretty decent deals and easy to find, and under 150 are rare, although possible, deals.

I've gotton lucky in Nordstroms Rack - bought a pair for 70 bucks recently. I've seen other AE pairs for $130 although in my opinion they were not to nice looking. If you are looking for up to date ones you probably wont find though most the stuff is way outta style.

Yes, I recently got three pairs as well from Ebay, and I am loving them too. I used to wear bass =/

Attached are my favourite Andover Boots, and a pair of Brandywoods

Just bought my first pair of Allen Edmonds. Brown Park Avenue's, brand new for $179.00. They fit like a glove.

Speaking of AE's on ebay, what is a good price for a gently worn pair of Lexingtons with no apparent flaws and minimal sole wear? Am I overpaying at $52 shipped?

^Sounds fair. The Lexington is a nice shoe.

According to the AE CEO over at AAAC they are planning a couple of bal boots for Fall 2010. I'm eager to see them. Alden won't do bal boots so AE is the only American made option for them.

I was shopping for some Crockett & Jones a few weeks ago and the store I was in was (sadly) discontinuing sale of Allen Edmonds.

Happily, they were all on clearance!
