Something similar to the Tolomeo lamps?

Is there something similar in design to the Tolomeo lamps that are also better made and easily available? (I've been looking at a floor model, and one for my desk)

For $500+ lamps, they don't feel as sturdy as they should.

I have two of them and have enjoyed them very much. You know, there is something to be said for buying the classic and not a copy, IMO. But, there are numerous lamp options out there at all price points.

Is there some trick to make them move more smoothly when positioning the arms? It just feels kludgy when I try it.

I've owned a Tolemeo since the 1980s ...and it's still working fine.

But there are other lights that are also really great:

Fortebraccio from Luceplan

Bill from Tobias Grau

P’7111 from Lighteriors

That Luceplan looks perfect, thank you for bringing it to my attention!

I like this Lady Costanza model as well: https://www.luceplanstore.com/floor/...6.html?catId=3

Ha ha ...it's funny how you see things you don't need but start looking for places to put them

This light called 'Twiggy' is similar to Lady Costanza

.....I have been thinking about getting a couple of them for some time .....but I really have nowhere to put them It is made by Foscarini.

I really like the twiggy. Know where I can find a quality repro?

I have the twiggy, in red. It's a fantastic piece. I don't think anyone is making a repro. !luc

I got two Tolomeo classic table lamps for free recently. A woman put them on a freecycle site. I don't know if she realized what she had.
