Your mama's a remarkable bore.

But really, I enjoyed the silliness but grasp the less than highbrowness of it. He also, this time at least, chose his thread, well.

Anyone know of a good, cheap background check service? Do I have to hire a PI?

why are you suspicious of her? that is not a good start to a relationship

Flawless logic. Pio, he is running background checks on your SF posts. You two might not be compatible.

I guess I have been lucky because the strippers I have known socially have been pretty together. What gets to me is that people want to act like the simple fact that someone is a stripper is all you need to know about them in order to judge them as failures. That only a true fuck-up would strip and the act of stripping is its self so morally reprehensible that we can safely say anyone who does is going to be a fuck up in every other way.
At the end of the day its just tits and ass and the showing of. I prefer to save my moral condemnation for those whose actions cause pain, death, suffering and misery. Stripping does not hurt anyone.

I don't know that we're disagreeing so much. I didn't interpret Globe's statement as morally judgmental. There's a big difference between having a major character flaw and being *evil* or morally corrupt. In the context of being in a serious relationship I would have to say that every stripper I have ever known was too flawed to meet *my* expectations...by a long way, but I think I have pretty high standards. This is not that I am saying that they are bad people because actually, most that I knew seemed to be "good" people that have had bad things happen to them. This situation is hardly exclusive to strippers and I can sympathize but I do not see any of these girls having a "normal healthy relationship".

I'll amend it to account for immigrants, and the occasional doctoral student doing a study. but I would be surprised if you find that many american born strippers who didn't have a messed up childhood or problems with early relationships. very very surprised.

that doesn't make them bad people - but you don't go against that much socialization without baggage.

I don't think that it is morally reprehensible, not at all. I would go on to say that what I am talking about is more an issue of enviroments that have been rough on them, and not anything that is there fault.

but that doesn't change the basic concept - you don't come from a perfectly good childhood and chose to strip, without something very strange happening.

Here in Maryland I always go to Maryland Judicary Case Search. Its also a good way of checking up on douche bags I went to HS with.

Don't know if this is true:

but it should give you pause.

This is entirely inaccurate, as tons of bg search companies don't inform the subject when they've been searched.

Is it? I don't know, everytime I was checked (that I know of) I had to sign a consent form.
Looking at some of the samples, I would have hoped some of that information was more private e.g. salary, homes, etc. I may have to run a check on myself to see what is available.

Yeah that form is for employment purposes. For business-related due diligence, no consent is required (at least from what I've seen/done).
