I'm starting to get real serious with a girl, but I'm sort of suspicious of her background. She may have been a stripper or something in her past.

Anyone know of a good, cheap background check service? Do I have to hire a PI?

^probably the best option, but isnt a little mystery a good thing?

And if her being a stripper is a major concern, you might like the dudes, because most guys would love to fornicate with a stripper on a regular basis.

If you are sufficiently worried about her past that you want to have a professional look into her, and sufficiently worried that she would lie that you won't just ask her.. you probably shouldn't be getting "serious" with her. Not speaking from experience in this kind of thing, just my opinion.

+1. If you aren't comfortable enough with her to talk about it, or if you don't trust her enough to believe her answer, this doesn't bode well for the future. As well, if she ever finds out, you're toast. If I found out my potential partner had me investigated, rather than just asking me outright and trusting my answer, I'd send them packing.

So what? One of the joys of living in these here United Forums of J is that, more or less, we can offer our solicited-or-not opinions on whatever we like. I could have posted a half-naked picture of Ronaldo in this thread if I had wanted to do so.
