Hello all,

I'm 5 feet 11 inches tall. At the start of the year I was 215-ish pounds, with a 40 inch waist. Realizing I needed to stop the madness, I started exercising 4-5 times a week and eating healthy. I prepare my own meals most of the time, and when I eat out I find something healthy on the menu.

I'm now 177 lbs, with a 33 inch waist and a much more proportional body. The difference is amazing! My eventual plan is to get down to the mid 160's and then add some muscle, but I realized a short while ago that I'm not "fat" anymore. How about that!

Anyway, I can't believe how good I feel. If you've been on the fence about trying to lose weight, you should do it. Throw yourself into it for a month, and you'll be amazed at how much better you feel. Start Oct. 1. Heck, start today and you'll be 4 days ahead of the game when Oct. 1 rolls around. Start now, and think of how good you'll look at Christmas! When other people are making their New Year's resolutions, you'll be 3 months in. It's really not that hard, and the results are better than anything money can buy.

But if you do want to spend money... It's much more fun to buy clothes when you don't need to buy Large or X-Large stuff! When your legs can actually fit into a pair of jeans and not get stopped by massive thighs.

Do it! You will bloody love it.

Bob

Good for you my friend. I peaked at 165 (I am almost 5'9) in early college, now at about 153. I feel a lot better about myself, and my girlfriend thinks its an ideal weight. Thats all that matter solol.

Congratulations. I had same situation last year where I went from 205+ to 168 while I was unemployed. I looked and felt great and had so much more positive attention out on the street then when I was 200. Now I'm back to around 190 but heading back down again.
For me it is all about exercise consistency. I've always had an issue with eating tremendous amounts.

On the other hand, L and XL sizes are the ones that last into deep sales

I'm 6' tall and was up to about 208 in April. Am at about 182 now. Would like to get to 175, but am feeling 100% better about things.

I have to imagine that at least 10 of those pounds were lost the first time he blew his load with this new chick. Not impressed.
