olympus xz-1 solves this problem. lens is 28-100mm-e f1.8-2.5.

I got the XZ-1 as a second camera to my 5DII six months back. But my interest in taking photos tapered off after that. I carried both on my recent trip to Thailand. Of the 600 pics I took, around 10 were with the 5DII.
