It seems Van is to direct and release a documentary of himself and his career to dispel the accumulated myths which have evolved over the years. To be released in New Year. Includes in-depth interviews and recent Astral Weeks tour rehearsal footage. Should be interesting for us fans out there.

Who is this guy and what myths. I'd like to hear about folk lore and urban legends.

One of my favorite VM songs is a collaborative effort done with The Band. He and Richard Manuel share verses in a song called 4% Pantomime. I think Van and Robbie Robertson wrote it together.
