Favorite Subway sandwiches

I am taking a weekly after-work class for eight weeks starting today. The most convenient restaurant to the class is a Subway, which means I'll be eating there the next eight Tuesdays. I usually order the Italian BMT on Italian bread with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers, oil and vinegar, and black pepper, but I'm looking to branch out. Suggestions?

Ever notice how Subway has a really distinct smell, and everytime you walk into one, you smell like it for the next 5 hours? Anyway, I'd say pack a snack and then eat at your house after.

It smells like yeast and a proofing room.

It does, but in a gross way. I like the smell of bread proofing, but it's that smell, in a bad way.

I usually go for the grilled chicken breast on honey wheat with provalone, lettuce, tomato, black olives, green peppers, and south west sauce.

I know what you mean. I should have said a 'commercial proofer' instead. I worked at a pizza shop when I was 15 and it had the same smell.

Meatball on Italian herb and cheese bread, very light on the sauce, sometimes extra meat, with lettuce, onion and oregano. I rarely get the cheese (TBH, not sure if I've ever tasted a difference).

Subway is gross. I never really understood why anyone would pay $6 for six slices of turkey breast (or any other meat) and then get "the works," so that your sandwich ends up tasting like a salad on soggy and sometimes sticky (????) bread.

i dont go to subway much, but if i do, i like to get their italian bmt as well. hard to get this wrong.

Seafood, little bit of lettuce, american cheese, black olives, pickles, salt and pepper.

6" Subway club, double meat on wheat, light lettuce, tomato, black olive, green pepper, and mustard.
