Holy shit man that is fucked up.

I picked up one of the checked dress shirts during the Ebay sale. I've been wanting to try one of these for a while, so I figured I'd get a trial shirt. We'll see how it goes. I have one of their slim fit shorts and it fits reasonably well, but is a touch too much material in the lower section, so I have high hopes for this one.

I like that blue checked one but they don't have it in 14.5 x 32.

I agree with whoever said that the pocket is slightly too large, I also find that it's placed a little low on the chest but I'm short so that's probably a factor. Don't know if this is common knowledge but I emailed customer service asking when the extra-slim fits might be offered in non-iron and got this response:

Thank you for contacting Brooks Brothers customer service.

We are happy to hear that you like our new extra-slim fit shirts. Regrettably, we will not be
introducing this fit into tour Non-Iron Collection until the Fall 2011 season.

Please contact me if you have any further questions.

When did they email you this? Just wondering if non-iron has been pushed back. On May 21st, they emailed me: Thank you for contacting Brooks Brothers customer service. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us regarding our extra-slim fit shirts. We appreciate your taking the time out of your busy day to send us your comments. The non-iron version will be coming out in the Fall of 2010. Please contact us if you need further assistance. Sincerely, Lucy McGrane Email Correspondence Coordinator Brooks Brothers

extra slim fits me like a glove, but i wouldn't feel too bad if it's still a little bigger than you want. gives it a more classic look, and not so trendy. google anthony perkins for examples.

I have the same problem (and I am not Asian). The funny thing is that I have a few older slim-fit BB (when that was the slimmest) and they are slimmer than the new extra-slim-fit.

one or two extra inches off the waist would make these perfect (a few more color/pattern options wouldnt hurt either)

You should go MTM instead of expecting a weird fit off the rack.

Anybody having problems with these shirts shrinking? I picked one up and thought the neck seemed big so I threw it in the wash - now the sleeves are too short.

Do you guys just end up buying one size longer to counteract this? I'm worried even with shrinkage, it will be too long if I go up in size.
