I thought Superfuture decided that all those PRPS on eBay were fake? Even if they're not, they're still a different cut.

Yep. eBay Prps = fake.

Has anyone seen how bad the fake PRPS are? Has anyone here ordered a fake fake pair from eBay??
I realize fakes are bad and everything, i'm just curious as to exactly how different they are from real ones....

To me, it doesn't matter. Fake is fake. If the design is ripped off and done for cheaper with lower quality materials and the intent is there to deceive people into thinking it's real, it's abolutely revolting.

I ordered them today. They should be here tomorrow (I'm in Dallas, shop is in Austin). Regardless of whether or not I keep them, I'll be sure to take pics for you kind folk.

Well, I got them in yesterday. The wash is fantastic, and the pictures from Factory People are very accurate. The denim felt pretty nice. Very similar to my 5EP, but not quite as high quality feeling (a little stiffer). The folded over back pockets are pretty sweet, as are all the little details on them.

The snap tabs on the waist are cool too. They actually tighten up the waist if you snap them up. The fit isn't something I really cared for. Even though they are 'slim' they're pretty baggy in the thigh and ass, with a low crotch. The 30 is also too short for me. FP said the 32 had a 33" inseam, but the 30 has more like a 31.5" inseam. It's about an inch shorter than I'd like it to be.

Overall, they are not worth $300 bucks. I would gladly pay it, however, if they fit me better since I like the wash so much. As it stands, I will be returning them.

Oh, not that it matters, but this made me laugh out loud - they're not selvadge.

Chainstitch 4 lyfe!
