Lets talk about Cougars...

of the human female variety. Thoughts?

I'm having more and more run ins, and well, they are kind of hot. Especially in the 35-40 yo range when they are still hot and fresh, but properly aged as well..

About a year and a half ago, I was in a pretty deserted bar, and a woman started talking to me. She was a 40 year-old ex-bikini model, and she told me "In my prime, I would have hurt a guy like you... sexually." She was also there with another man.

I asked for her number in jest, but she gave me it in earnest.

I forget her name, she's simply saved in my phone as "Cougar", and I never called. So you think it's too late to proceed? If so, how?

tagut your an even bigger social retard than I originally thoght. That is why god invented texts - I ahvent legitametly talked to a girl on the phone in ages.


So on subject: There was this cougar den by me that I cleaned house in last summer. I think 8 of the 9 times I went there I at least got a number. Most of time a makeout or fuck. It was cougar central and it was awesome. It was the kind of place your friends talk about and you say "Man, I wish there was a place like that by me" well I was that guy with the place.

The place was bought out by one of the chain meat-market socal bars and I ahvent had the desire to go back into. Even the older yelp reviews talk about the cougs. This year? No such luck for me. In fact, I havent had a single one night stand

When I first learned the term "Cougar" (in the human female sense), I was led to understand that it to applied adult women who seduced underage (say, 14-year-old) boys.

Now it seems to have acquired a much more benign meaning of 40-something women who like to be serviced by 20-something men.

Anyone else aware of this evolution of the term? Or was I misled to begin with?

Funny, I overheard some older professional women talking about "Cougars" the other day. One asked amused, "What is the male equivalent."

I interjected with "Rich."

Maybe its because I'm in the age range myself, but while I can appreciate the nubile young bodies of teens and 20-somethings, I'm at the point where I find women in their mid-30's to 40's to be more attractive.

AFAIK, it has always referred to the latter.
