Nice Modern House in Bay Area

This place looks rather nice and in keeping with some of the modern leanings here:

All of those 90 degree angles are infuriating. I do feel sorry for the guy over this though:

I like it all pretty well. Except photo #6- the white master bath. I just don't think that would be that comfortable to be in. The garden is great, except for that ugly ass vine sculpture.

I kind of think the all-white bath has a certain appeal to it, but it must be a bitch to keep clean.

Looks like it was made from a cookie-cutter and flavored with bland. They should come to LA and see the good stuff.

This is perhaps the least offensive modern house I've ever seen. Which means people who like modern design probably think it's pretty shitty.

That house almost does it for me. If it could just have a little more white on the interior, it would be perfect.

All-white modern looks soulless.

I prefer my modern with a heavy dose of Frank Lloyd Wright, Japanese architecture/design or earthy/urban materials (Auburn Rural Studio or your average urban loft, for instance). Something to give it an air of existing in this reality.

got some classical modern pieces in there...needs some warmth /color. I'd have it, but would have more stone /wood and some concrete similar to Tadao Ando.

It's a cut above most of what else is out there, but I agree, for the amount invested it's terribly bland looking.

I don't think you could survive Noe Valley. House is dull, IMO.
