I guess this is a good way to put it.

Also, why does the thread have the word "new" in it? Surely, these have been worn at least fifty times, right?

Thread Starter
I repeat: shitty BlackBerry photos. Flash, no flash, still looks like shit. I guess the only thing to do is imagine the #24 brown buck derbies on the Cleverley site in dark brown calf.

gd, I wondered the same thing-- thought perhaps the orig poster had bought a pair of bespoke used shoes, but maybe without the shoe trees and a good camera it's hard to tell. Could have snapped a pic with the blackberry after wearing and removing the shoes.

Those black Cleverly shoes are bad-ass! really something special with the elasticized sides and shape of the shoes. wow. I want to say this is one of the Cleverly design signatures (maybe I read that in a Flusser book?)

They are great. I have had several comments on how nice they are from people in restaurants and work! Not bad considering I just got them

the op' shoes are an unusual design and sorry i cannot say i like them at all...

I have to agree with you, those are probably not what I would have chosen in terms of design.

The first pair looks like a cheap pair of austerity brogue you will pick up in an Eastern European cobbler...

I love the toe on the second pair...

That's their "galosh" which will look familiar when my pair shows up.
