If it were up your ass, you'd know.

If it were, she wouldn't need to inquire as to its whereabouts, but I'm not sure that would be the best way to apply any kind of cream to a militant feminist's posterior orifice.

They use implements.

If you present her one such implement as a gift, it will probably affect her to the point of shock.

Yeah chatted about it with my staff today (who are all women). A general belief that I did the right thing.

A lot of tch tch noises and disappointment that their own people would largely ignore a man beating his wife in public, but rush over to (possibly) defend a man being beaten by a foriegner.

The general opinion is that if it hadnt been for Ly (driver) yelling at them that I was helping the woman (ergo protecting a defenseless Vietnamese rather than attacking a Vietnamese that I outweighed), I may have had some problems with the gathered crowd.

my first response, when I started reading your post, was that you were going to get in trouble, either the crowd or with the police. I think that you were lucky. not that you weren't right to take the risk and do what you did - but I think that it could easily have turned into a situation that screwed up your business.

I can whip him without a reason, because I've got the guts. Hey, I've got the guts. But the guts need fuel.

Eeh, what the hell?

Hmm, ham. That's ham with mustard and relish.

You're kind is easy. One good punch, and you're crying to your sister!

WTF? (I am trying to rescue you!)

You get her off your back and in the process she breaks her arm in the fall. The police come. Charges are pressed against you for assault. No witnesses speak up. You spend 24+ hours in jail waiting for US consulate type people to come and get you out. Your personal items are returned to you, but your wallet has lost its cash, and your credit cards are gone.

Proabable Lesson: Be leary of helping trashy people in the streets. Sir Galahad is not always wanted.

Cheers,

I guess I'd only be pissed in that situation if I'd intervened in order to be "my hero", as opposed to doing it because I felt it was the decent thing to do. No good deed goes unpunished. Such is life.

Stupid woman is probably still going to stay with the man after getting her ass kicked by him. It always happens, they think they are doing it out of "love".
