Affleck was pretty good in Changing Lanes as well.

Is it just me, or was that an incredibly good chick flick?

Hate Josh Hartnett [voice doesn't match face], but I liked him in Lucky Number Slevin.

Kevin Costner in Dances with Wolves... unfortunately his next movie was The Postman or some other ridiculous thing.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and posit that Tom Cruise has no business being in this thread. As much as I find him to be personally quite annoying, he's had a number of good turns in movies. Almost as many as he's had utter pieces of shit roles in crap movies.

Wha-? I think he's matured into a really good actor, and if not, he's at least very smart with the projects he picks and who he works with (can't wait for The Tree of Life). My pick'd go to Adam Sandler in Punch-Drunk Love. Role of a lifetime.
