Did anyone catch the premiere last night? It came on after The Office, and it was actually really funny. It's a lot like Arrested Development seeing as how it has a lot of the same staff.

nothing like arrested development though. was ok i guess. probably won't last past mid season. it might but i don't see it getting more than a pity 2nd season that will probably be cut short. At least it's not miserably unfunny like parks and recreation

It had such a good premise, but it failed in the pilot, IMO. The characters are unlikeable and the plot isn't funny.

Well, the problem is that no one on the show (except for chevy chase 30 years ago) is funny. Joel Mchale isn't funny. He's just snarky and confident and can come up with a joke here and there, which is fine in interviews and reality stuff (he was great on a conan interview and carolla podcast) but he's not a good enough comedic actor to do it naturally. The show seems forced and just doesn't work. Will not work in the future as i don't think they have the actors or writers

Just caught this on Hulu. It has a lot of potential, I get the tribute pilot but I hope they manage a way to either make the characters endearing or make it funnier.

Some talented cast members, but yeah not sold on Joel McHale as the star of a sitcom. Blonde is seriously hot though, will probably stick through the first half of the season just for her.

I liked it. Pilots are generally terrible even for the best shows, and I thought this was solid.

Haha I saw that too. I told my girlfriend that he was from the "Bro Rape" video and she looked at me like I was sick. I then explained that I tried to show her the clip a while back but she wasn't having any of it...

Otherwise the show was pretty lackluster.
