In my experience, their sizing is pretty standard across all products.. They seem to design every piece with a certain fit in mind. Pretty helpful once you figure out your size.

I am a 40R and I ordered a size 2. When I unwrapped it, it looked like it would be too small. However, upon wearing it is a good fit for me as I prefer a snugger look without too much bagginess. I also suspect it will stretch out a little bit with a few wears.

^ Thanks, that was very helpful. I'll pass then, I preffer it snug also. My jacket size 2 feels like 38, but a sweater would be fine size 2.

The main reason I was asking on the sizing was because I noticed oipolloi's size chart seems to say that the actual waist is 1" larger than the tagged size. Any comment on that? (link is http://www.oipolloi.com/store/Albam-...nim-12931.html)

Oh and by any chance, has anyone in Canada ordered from them before? Did you get charged customs fees?

^ why don't you call them? I've heard they have great customer service, I'm sure they'd love to answer your questions.

International calling is a pain, but I'd call them anyways. I've emailed them in the past and have either gotten replies a couple days later or never (usually never)... but the one time I called on the phone they were very helpful.

They probably are half to an inch bigger than stated.

Well, they do have great customer service. Since overseas calling is kind of a pain, I tried sending them an email to start with, and got an answer within 24 hours. Here is the sizing chart they sent me.

I measure a pair of 32 dockers slacks that fit me well at the waist, and they were 41cm, while my 32 H&M sliqs that stretched to shit were closer to 43. So, I'll be ordering the 31.

Just thought I'd post that here in case anyone else was wondering on the sizing

the hem size is weird. 15cm= 5.9inches?

yah, that can't be right. even 18 cm is still mega small.

Love everything about this brand. Picked up a rucksack, horn keychain, and pair of denim in the past 2 months. Really want everything they offer. Customer service couldn't be better.

Hoping my denim stretches a bit, inseam is a bit high for me. If they stretch, everything should be ok..

I used to be a big fan of Albam. I still like it though. Apart from the weird cuts sometimes - on pants especially. What made me buying clothes from them was the fact, that the clothes they make are really bland. It's like sticking your tongue out of the window, when you could be eating a burger.

The clothes are too minimalistic too often, sometimes in a old Jil Sander kinda way. But I totally get the appeal, but I prefer things that stick out just a bit more. Albam could be so amazing, but to me it isn't yet.

You should also check Universal Works out, if you haven't already heard about it. It looks just the same, and the owner of UW even helped Albam in the beginning.
