I didn't really notice the difference until that last image (lots of natural/outdoor lighting). To me it looks so unnoticeable I wouldn't worry about it. I suggest you email Albam if you are concerned and they might offer some insight or suggestions. The most drastic option I guess would be to dye it another color but I really wouldn't suggest doing that.

I think this have been answered previously, but I'm lazy and I think they changed the design of their denim a while back, does anyone have any experience with their denim, I have been looking at them for a while and at 80-85 pund it seems like a good deal and I'm starting to get tired of getting the groin fixed on my NS's

Size down or tts?

I just got a pair of the straight leg denim, I'd size down at least 1 from true size, or 1 up from your size in New Standards. I fit a pair of NS size 30 well, have Albams in 32 which fit slightly loose - I could have gone down a size or maybe 2 for a tight fit in the albams. The Albams in size 32 I have measure 34" across the waistband. I normally take a 32 or 33 waist.

I bought a pair of their regular leg a few weeks ago and sized down an inch on my normal size (i.e. around 2" down on actual waist measurement). Denim quality is nice, and construction seems excellent. I popped into the Beak Street store - Jude - the guy who was in there was great at advising on fit and measured them for hemming. Minimal shrinkage in the waist after a hot soak, and about 1.5" off the inseam.

Just bought (and got delivered to NYC without having to pay duty) the Taper Chino in Navy. So, so, so nice.

Does the taper chino run true to size in the waist?

I would say yes to fitting true to size. They definitely aren't as form fitting as UNIS for example - a little looser around the thigh. Great construction and detailing. I could post measurements relating to a W36" if it would be of any use?

i've tried on their chinos a few times and although they're meant to have a 34" inseam i suspect it's actually shorter than that. Would be interested to see a leg measurement for the pair you bought hoit.

I'd appreciate it. I've got a pair of chinos from last year and am wondering if the ones I own are the 'tapered' or regular fit. I'm looking to get another pair..

They've slimmed the design down this year - I picked up a pair of the old style and they're quite a bit roomier than the new.
