Berluti, Hong Kong

What wackiness will Berluti come up with next? It's about 7.75 HKD to 1 USD, so that's USD 1470. I actually dig the wholecuts with the tiger prints.

pkincy, Berluti does have a bespoke programme, but most of their stuff is ready-made by StefanoBi - Stefano Branchini's old firm. Both Berluti and StefanoBi are owned by LVMH, hence the relationship.

Berluti has some really cool shoes, but others just make you wonder wtf they were thinking. I like the right-most wholecut in the third picture. I think it would look very pretty if done in the tiger print color as well.

As of 2 AM this morning, Duveen and I saw that they have scalpel-scripted leather wallets and leathergoods now, as well as patched and darned wallets. Their casual shoe, the Indio, is also out, insanely expensive, and the ugliest shoe known to Man.

I'm really curious as to what type of person buys shoes like that. They look absolutely ridiculous.

Relax, portnoy. The world's Lobb Paris supply is safe...

Perhaps it is being defended by the RJ cat and his posse.

Just remember, portnoy, the horse has always been our friend.

It would be a sad world if Berluti stopped being so nuts. I'm serious! There's something glorious about the fact these bizarre yet high quality items exist.
