Jos. A Bank

Willowbrook Mall area or FM 1960 Champions area probably have AE retailers and they are near IAH.

Jos. A Bank stores are a good suggestion. The closest JAB store to me is on W. Gray near Shepherd, inside the Loop.

I'm an engineer who does design work in the office and the occasional site visits. I normally wear khakis (tan and blue) and jeans (raw denim) with shirts from JCrew. I would like to purchase a pair of AE that are appropriate for my line of work. I have Park Ave for my formal wear but would like some brown shoes for work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If you want an AE, I'd go with the Strand in walnut or that new Rough collection. If you want darker, I like the cordovan shoes.

anyone know how similar the crosstown 1258 last is to the welted 5? i have a pair of tribecas for work (lots of walking thus rubber sole) and am looking to pick up a pair of park of fifth avenues online. i wear a 10d in the tribecas would i be the same in the others?

I tried on some shoes from the Crosstown Collection. I wear a 9.5D in the welted AE's - all lasts I own are 9.5D. But in the Crosstown Collection shoes, the 10D fit me better. The guy at the store I shop said most people go up a half size on the Crosstowns.

Just my experience.

Dear Mr. Edmonds,

Why did you discontinue the Lauderdale? It was my very favorite shoe.

You must be a very bad man.

Fondly,

Mr. Hopper

Allen Edmonds does chukkas and boots too, those should do just fine.

Summer like weather in the bay area.

Besides the last chart on the AE site, is there another chart or information source that has a more extensive listing of past models and their associated lasts?

Has anyone tried out AE boat shoes?
