I am starving for food, didn't eat anything before having them removed.

Made a quick mac & cheese this morning.. had some icecreams...

I think risotto would be good to make... need other ideas so that I don't starve it sucks not being able to eat good food

Had a couple out earlier this year... feel your pain mate. Depending on how your jaw goes (I got a bit of locking up/pain afterwards), some soups could go a long way. Some of the thick (but non-chunky) ones would be good for sustenance. Did you need to get stitches in any of them?

No stitches that I know of, as my dentist is a friend of mine and the level of nitrous I was receiving put me in to la land.

I know they put something in the two that required cutting in to the gum tissue.

I just can't stand soup unless it's before dinner. I need food damn it

I remember being told that I would be able to eat anything in less than a week. Right.

It was hell. Soup, lots of soup, for weeks.

Chickenhawks don't heal that well, eh?

Soup. Ice cream. Soup. Ice cream. Repeat.

I found that I could eat small bites of soft foods after a few days--poached fish, roasted potatoes, fruit, stuff like that.

Good luck!

I'd rec a liquid diet, mostly booze. If you're not a booze fan, stick with peanut butter and lots of gummy bears.

Mashed / baked potatoes.

Also, in case you haven't gotten this advice yet - take frozen peas or corn (still in their bag) and hold them against your cheeks for 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off for the twelve hours after the removal. I did that and I didn't bruse, didn't swell, and was eating regular food within four days. Part of that could be healing well, but I think the 'icing' really helped.

Best wishes for a speedy and complication-free recovery.

Did you not get a jar of pills after the procedure? That should replace food for a while while you heal up. .

Other than that try herbs mashed potatoes with cheese.

I ate oatmeal because there was only so much soup I could eat.
Unless your one of those weirdos that chews your oatmeal.

Wow. I think I had mine out on a Friday and was eating normally on Monday.

My dad, however...

OP - if it's a matter of nutrition: try protein / MRP shakes.

I used to blend protein shakes, throw in a banana, etc... drink that stuff down. keeps you filled for a little while.
