There was a great story a couple of years ago when Paterno almost got into an accident with a woman. He pulled over and told her to be careful, and that he had her license plate # and he'd call the police on her. Her husband says "Hey, that's my wife you're talking to!" and JoePa replies "That's your problem!"

wait - Lou Holtz dies Joe Paterno's hair? I'd heard coaches can be close-knit, but that's a bit

lou holtz is awful. He slurs. Spits when talks, and dangles off any notre dame players nuts and hates michigan.

i dont know how they keep him on there. Mark May gives good, well-thought out, logical explanations and analysis, then sweet lou comes out and mumbles some shit about charlie weis. Must be from all the ND nut he's sucking.

I'm surprised that Lou is still on the job, and even got the job in the first place. He dresses fairly nicely though.

I'm 30 years old. My grandfather played for Penn State. Why do these two things matter? JoePa was an assistant coach when my grandfather played for Penn State! My grandfather is old. That makes JoePa ancient.

By comparison, Bobby Bowden, after last week's wretched game against Jacksonville State, said in the postgame interview, THREE TIMES, that we'd just played Troy State. Which isn't even called Troy State anymore.

I had no idea Troy was a state. I thought it was a movie or a woman or something.

c'mon, joe pa is great.

+1 on the lou holtz hate. If ND weren't protected, they'd be on suspension from the recruiting violations that were committed.
