Well, I stand corrected. Milan did pull it off.

Woo hoo!

Ugh. Loved that terrible tackle in the box by Zambrotta on Benzema that wasn't called for some reason. Didn't touch ball, wrapped around Benzema's ankle and swung his foot up his leg. Hope Real can come out top of the group.

Yes, but don't forget Siva's disallowed goal. He didn't touch Casillas apparently (Sergio Ramos clattered into Casillas).

Just saw result. Too bad Menez missed the penalty. Riise v Riise!

Olympique Lyonnais (FRA) v Real Madrid CF (ESP): 16 February/10 March
FC Bayern München (GER) v ACF Fiorentina (ITA): 17 February/9 March
FC Porto (POR) v Arsenal FC (ENG): 17 February/9 March
Olympiacos FC (GRE) v FC Girondins de Bordeaux (FRA): 23 February/17 March

Beckham vs. Man U and Mourinho vs. Chelsea are the two big story lines for the first knock out round.

Beckham coming back to Old Trafford is orgasmic.

I guess we need to change thread title to '10?

Milan screwed the pooch. Happy for Lyon. La Viola in crisis so Bayern should romp today. What about Porto?

Arsenal doesn't quite seem to be playing as inspired as they did previously in the year--and Porto at home is rather difficult. I am hoping for a draw, but wouldn't be suprised with a Gunner's loss.

Porto will win i think...Viola might draw which is still a positive result considering. The most i am worried about is Inter and how they will handle chelsea.

I'm worried about Sol at the back as well as Fabanski. He's looked terrible every game I've watched him play. I'd be really happy with a draw.

Thank you Sol!
