Are there any? Any suggestions for what to order if I want to look like I'm drinking but not take in any alcohol?

I agree with the grow a pair comment, but will try to help. Forget the beer idea, order a coke and tell everyone it's a vodka coke.

I'm actually interested in this too, but for a different reason. I really like beer, but I don't always want the alcohol. I would probably drink it twice as often if I could stay sober sometimes. I haven't had much luck finding anything that tastes decent, though. Don't do it just to look like you're drinking. That's silly.

Why don't you carry around a carton of grape juice and tell everybody its cask wine. That'd be, like, more sophisticated and stuff.

Order coke or seltzer with a lime. Garnish makes it look like a cocktail.

Beer without alcohol isn't beer.

Agreed.

Either drink (slower/light beer) or don't drink. Have the confidence to make it work. Who cares what you look like.

If you like beer for its taste, then you wouldn't like non-alcoholic beer. Then again I like hoppy beers like IPAs.

Aside from the all the previous posts which i agree with, I'll actually give my take on two beers that are somewhat decent.
Recently, I've been drinking non-alcoholic and alcoholic versions of st. paulis girl, which while not all that great is a good alternative and quite a few places serve it. And another for drinking, is warsteiners version of non-acloholic beer if you can find it. Not overly hoppy, definitely not the same as their alcoholic beer but decent for a non alcoholic beer.

Indeed, that's been my experience; wishful thinking, I suppose.

I have a friend who gave up the juice, but likes the taste of beer and he always buys Becks.

Becks, St. Pauli, Clausthaler, and Kaliber are decent enough, and a taste level above Buckler. Bitburger is supposedly coming out w/ a NA that tastes 'great'. All these have trace amounts (.05% or less) of alcohol in them. Kirin FREE (and some other Japanese beers?) are 100% alcohol free, if this matters to you...
