If you really wanna do this thread right, you've gotta put the brands / cuts that fit the criteria in the original post with edits.

I have two items I'm considering putting up for sale that is perfect for you slim folks.

1. Mr. Olive red linen s/s shirt, medium. Worn twice, washed once, shirt is in impeccable condition. Definitely my favorite casual shirt, if it was'nt for my muscular arms i'd keep it. Retail was around 200 bucks from Atsui.
Looking to get 100 shipped conus.

2. New MofM black blazer, size 3, 100% wool, fully lined. Working sleeve buttons, retail was 695 from atsui. Looking to get 375 shipped conus. Been tried on but never worn since the weather in Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale is not suitable for wool jackets 99.99% of the time.

And put the word official in the title, no one takes unofficial threads seriously

) I'm like 142 lbs planning on bulking up to 165-170 though eventually (not right now). I'm NOT sickly slim just slim... I usually wear a Medium in American Eagle shirts. Or go for a Medium in most shirts. I don't like how smalls fit me from H&M, they make me look like a little boy since I'm not muscalar as of yet. I'll try to get my measurements after work. Does anyone have information on these shirts from these brands for my build: -Naked and Famous -American Apparel ( L/S Oxford Shirts) Club Monaco Obedient Sons Band of Outsiders Rogues Gallery Burkman Bros RRL JCrew Ben Shermans Soho Fit Hugo Boss shirts NDG Shirt jump the gun shirts Mr. Olive Man of Moods Shades of Greige Muji Yeah I know its alot lol but whoever can help me a little that would be great.

^ you got it maaang.

naked and famous makes a great value slim fit. (there's a size S blue oxford i'm selling PM me )
don't buy american apparel it's a waste of money as the shirts will probably deteriorate quickly.
err on the side of caution with JTG it's really slim, slimmer than Band of Outsiders I think.
if you buy band, the overdyed oxfords fit a bit skinnier than their regular shirts. (farinelli's has thorough measurements)
RRL take the same size as Band.
J Crew is a box buy at $25 or less as beats

If you plan to be 165-170 lbs, depending on where you bulk up, the Ben Sherman Soho Fit might work with you in medium unless your arms gets too big.
Hugo Boss in Slim Fit should fit you fine in a small.
BoO, a small-medium should work for you at that weight.
As for J. Crew, even at 170 lbs I doubt you will find a shirt or pants that will fit well.
Shades of Greige, from what I heard, is as slim as BoO but their jackets are weirdly shaped.

I'm 5'6" 135lbs and think I've found the best resource for slim fit shirts: www.tailorstore.com

You build a MTM shirt one of two ways: the shirt measurements or you body measurements. For my first shirt, I used the measurements of a Gap button-down shirt sized slim-fit XS that fit really well. Surprisingly the shirt came out pretty close (not exact) to the Gap slim-fit XS. Since then I've ordered four more shirts, tweaking the measurements each time. I've noticed some inconsistencies in the arm width, as one of my shirts had baggy arms while the other one had BoO type arms. The only downside is that it takes about 4-6 weeks to get your shirt.

Anyone wear BoO trousers? I was hoping the cut would be a little higher to accommodate for the high hem line on their shirts, but no one in Chicago carries them so I can check it out. I think it'd be worth the investment to get a pair if that was the case.

I felt the Ben Sherman soho shirts were certainly slimmer than most department-store brands but still too big in the shoulders and overall length. Smallest size I ever tried on was an S though. I think they make XS which I've never seen in a store around here. Pretty expensive though and the quality didnt impress me.

Club Monaco is another seemingly overpriced for what you get brand to me. Their shirts are really skinny in the chest but less so in the arms, and also too long to wear untucked for a shorter person.

American Apparel oxfords are garbage quality but fit me well. I'd explore other options.

I'm curious about BoO pieces outside of the shirts but they're all insanely expensive and nobody carries them

I have never worn any, but there is a pair listed in the B&S now that may have some measurements for reference or you can contact the seller directly to find out. If they are anything like normal trousers/dress pants though, I'd imagine they'd have a higher rise (10-10.5") and would accomodate the shirt hems. Personally, I would NOT pay anywhere near retail (which I think is upwards of like $500) for them just like I don't for their shirts as I belive they are ludicrously overpriced from jump. I think Incotex which can be found often in the MC B&S is a better buy and they offer a nice slim fit. The wool ones can typically be found sold around $100-$140-ish.

I belive forum affiliate Epaulet will soon be offering suiting, and if they turn out anywhere like his shirts, I will look no further as his craftsmanship is superb and his shirt fit suits me better than BoO I believe.

Yah, quality isn't the best especially for retail but I always find they on sale for 50% or more. As for the shoulders, I actually thought the shoulder is pretty small in a size small or maybe my shoulder is just a bit wider?
