It is my first year in pharmacy school and there are 2 pharm frats that I got bids for. Both are coed professional/social organizations. I regret not joining a "real" fraternity in my undergrad years so this is me making up for whats left of it. Unfortunately neither fraternity jumps out at me.
Frat A: Oldest, largest pharm related frat in the country, possibly great for alumni contacts. More guys to hang out with (my school has a 3 female: 1 male ratio) but still a mostly estrogen filled frat. Has its own house. Known to be more party oriented...and as an introvert, I can see this as helping me get out or I can end up hating it.
Frat B: Not as well known, but I feel a little more comfortable here. Few guys to chill with but at least the girls aren't bad looking. Lots of service opportunities for my required volunteer hours.
Is it even worth joining? Not many social opportunities outside of my pharmacy school...its in the middle of bumbfuck country and ironically there are no undergrad fraternities. Call me a bitch for starting this thread, but still want some constructive feedback.
