raleigh denim - Page 13

Met up with Victor at the shop a few weeks ago and he showed me some of the collection they used at NYFW. There are some really nice pieces-- they are really on a nice roll with everything. Anyone go to the launch?

I didn't get to go to the launch but planning on checking out Saks this weekend to see what they are stocking. I did notice that they are not sold online, only in store though.

Raleigh Denim fashion show in Triangle Town Center? Weird.

The links I find don't actually say that any stuff will be on sale, just that we could see stuff there yesterday. So let us know what you see there when you go.

Looks good, and about right for 2 months. In my experience, Raleigh's tend to break in very easily, aka get softer and stretch, but tend to take a while to start seeing any color loss. This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you are looking for. In high abrasion areas however, they lose color just like any raw denim.

My silver selvage pair after about 3-4 months of moderate wear (maybe once a week). No hem done yet but the chunky cuff look is growin on me so I might leave as is

Raleigh Denim display at Triangle Town Center in Raleigh:

They have the Original, Nash, Camden, and Bladen in stock. I found this interesting....the guy at Saks, which I will take with a grain of salt, said that Sara and Victor will no longer be signing the jeans. Instead the jeansmiths will be signing them. I did notice a few signatures I did not recognize so maybe this is true. Sad, but I guess a necessary step with a growing company.

That is sad but understandable - I saw all the same models at the Saks in Boston last weekend (didn't buy any because I know they will go on sale)
