raleigh denim - Page 9

Well, that all depends on what you consider good. There is alot of shopping but not very much high end stuff. Four malls within 20 minutes, 3 in Raleigh, one in Durham. There's one Nordstrom at the Durham Southpoint mall and one Saks Fifth Avenue in Raleigh. Raleigh Denim is in downtown, warehouse district of Raleigh which is just beginning to come alive. You should definitely go see Victor and Sarah. The Curatory also carries a few items of other brands as well as their own stuff. Off the top of my head, they carry Sunny Sports, Band of Outsiders, tops obviously, only their own bottoms. Definitely a great place to live but the shopping can leave a little to be desired at times.

Cool, the existence of a place that sells Boo makes it much better from where I am coming from.

If you're a "Styleforum brand" person, the malls and such around here will not satisfy you. Also the Southpoint Nordstrom is pretty lacking imo, but maybe I think that because North Carolina in general isn't much for small sizes.

It is fun to go try on shoes at the Nordstrom Rack though.

And the Curatory has really nice shit.

I went to RALEIGH DENIM, on Tuesday super nice people.... However their jeans run a little small... making a person feel BIG.... I am normally a size 38' waist and can normally where slim fit or straight fit, even with muscular thighs.... but I could not for the life of me get any pair of 38's over my thighs.... I was thinking as I left that why don't they do BESPOKE..... They said they would start to carry 40's in the near future... Also ate at Chucks , the same day and was not a fan..... If you guys are ever in Fuquay eat at Aviators..... the food is awesome.....

hey fitch, I think I was there on Tuesday when you were trying stuff on. With your wife? Sorry that you couldn't find anything to fit. I go in there periodically so I'll check with them and see when they start carrying 40's and let ya know. Great jeans, hope you can find your size. Not sure if you tried the Mitchell on Tuesday but thats probably gonna be your best bet.

Does anyone know what fit the "Silver Selvage" line was? It was the 25th Anniversary Barneys Co Op limited production run. I'm thinking it may be the Nash fit? Or perhaps the "original" fit?

So I'm guessing that the original fit is also a straight fit....

You guys are making me miss my Raleighs right now. I'm expecting a "come pick them up from repairs" call any day now.

My Raleighs have been retired to night/party/beater jeans...they've gotten STUPID comfy but they have stretched out so much that they might as well be 501s, which makes me not like to wear them.

Next time I'm sizing down 2...maybe 3

Depends how you like to wear your denim. I like mine a little loose so getting true to size works for me. I did just buy a new pair of keats and sized down one. We'll see how much they stretch out but not much so far in the first couple of wears.

I don't understand, are you used to skinnies?
