What % of your work shirts involve blue or white?

Looking at my closet I just realized at least 50% of my shirts involve blue, white or some combination of both. Those same shirts are what I wear to work at least 90% of the time. Blue and white just seem like the gold standards of professionalism in dress shirts to me. Is that unusual?

Not unusual. I really really wish I had more solid blues and whites. Working on that.

Solid blues and whites = probably 5%

Some variation thereof = 60% or so.

I have a red/white butcher stripe and a green with white pencil stripe. Otherwise, it's all white, blue, or both. (Somewhere I have a black shirt for impersonating a member of the Catholic clergy, but it's not in the rotation.)

Involve blue or white? All.

Too many - I am about to buy 2 new ones - black (fine stripe) & White and Gray & White striped. My wardrobe is screaming for variation.

90% of my shirts are blue or white, and I realised this a long while ago. I'm trying to add colours but I have a combination of problems. Firstly I'm cheap and don't need more shirts, and secondly I'm having a hard time finding colours and patterns I don't despise. I knew I was in trouble when I realised nothing in the folded up shirt porn thread was doing it for me.

I would guess that 75% of my dress shirts are one or the other, or a combination of both.

White pants in office is abit bold IMO.

I would guess that at leaast 60% of my fabric inventory is blue, white or a combination.
I also buy deper in blue then any other colors.

of late I have been buying deeper in lavender and purple shades.
I will push red and burgandy on guys who are slightly afraid of new colors. It is neutral and works with various colors of suits and trousers.

Pink still sells but less then the past.
I like yellow shirts, but most men are afraid of the shade.

Green is next to impossible to sell.

I've finally figured it out. You're a professional cricketer.

I have probably 75% blue or white. I have some OCBDs in pink, yellow and green, and I also have some purple and pink shirts (or various shades thereof) thrown into the mix.
