Hello

I was cast in a film recently and upon reading the script, realize that my character---who's supposed to be very thin (as I am)---spends 80% of his screen time in a towel with no shirt on

Not that I'm out of shape or anything, but definitely not where I want to be when it comes to a film in which my torso is exposed just about the whole time!

Any advice on ways to get a bit more toned in the next two months? Mostly I'm just concerned with upper body, all aspects except maybe abs (I have a six pack) and especially pecs.

Thanks a million

They cast you for a roll without knowing what you looked liked sans clothes? You accepted before reading the script?

bodybuilders dehydrate themselves before a show, read into that. Also check out carbing up about a week and a half before and slowly as the days pass lowering them to maybe about 10-20 g a day about three days out. Make sure protein is up(duh!) and go with core intense excercise not 2-300 hundred crunch's. Do them decline and weighted.

a) spray tanning with muscle contouring
b) keep working out your upper body and continue hard cardio. Monitor yourself in the mirror to make sure you are not losing too much mass with cardio.
c) I wouldn't bother with dehydration/carb loading because I doubt you will be shooting for one day, more likely over a longer period of time.
d) coke and cigs won't hurt.

I didn't read the complete script, no, just the abridged version without the blocking and directons...the lack of clothing isn't crucial to the plot at all (but he's keeping it in there anyways!)

For pecs make sure you do a variety of excersizes. On top of benchpressing add some flys, dips, etc. And most of these can be done on different angles (i.e. decline, incline) as well. In general this seems to help with most (/all?) other muscles too.

Getting a tan is also a good idea.

When you excersize remember to consume enough/extra protien, always helps. And don't push yourself to your limit every day. The body needs some rest to repair (build) the muscles. Two months should be plenty of time to get your body where you want it to be (at least it seems that way from your post).

Good luck

I smoke this herb that promotes coughing and that keeps my stomach and side muscles fairly toned.
